In the University of Debrecen wireless network system was built by the end of 2012 within the project HURO/0802/012_AF. This system makes it possible for the employees of research and education institutions to have wireless Internet connection with the aid of Eduroam, the service that also operates in 54 countries worldwide. In the busy public spaces of University of Debrecen one can find more than 130 of such "hot zones".
In order to use this service a personalised institutional network identifier, a password and the setting of your WiFi device (your notebook, smartphone, etc) are needed. After successful access it will be possible to have free wireless internet both inland and abroad in Eduroam environment.
